Tsyphur Zalan

Interactive Ambient

Sustained tones. Coastal gravity. The long arc of time.

Tsyphur Zalan's earliest release, Sink. (2015), established an approach that the Oceanic triptych would deepen across the following decade: long-form ambient music in which silence functions as structural material, and duration is a compositional choice rather than a byproduct of the form. Oceanic Dawn (June 2019) and Oceanic Day (~2020) are streaming documents of the triptych's first two movements. Oceanic Dusk (2023) is the flagship physical release — available on 180g limited-edition vinyl and digital, mastered at 96kHz by Joe Lambert. All three releases are available in hi-resolution audio. The triptych is best understood as a single extended environment experienced in stages.
